Short Bio

Derelict Dream are influenced by the slow and evil death metal of Bloodbath and Beyond Creation, the mechanized rhythms of Meshuggah and Gojira and the ethereal and otherworldly tones of Sylosis, Opeth and Devin Townsend to bring new, exciting and disturbing music to their audience, covering subjects such as psychological malaise, a self-inflicted perdition and the primal instinct to survive.

Derelict Dream - MACHINE (2023)

Derelict Dream's "Machine" takes the band's previous EP "Human" to the next level, as the character embarks on a journey of self-discovery, grappling with his newfound power and identity, all while experiencing a range of emotions including sadness and euphoria. The visually stunning music video, filmed in the tunnels underneath Portsmouth and produced by Wynter Prior of Sphynx Studios, perfectly captures the track's industrial, otherworldly feel, with an 80s sci-fi-inspired aesthetic that will appeal to fans of Opeth, Devin Townsend, and Meshuggah, as well as anyone looking for an immersive and emotionally resonant experience.
